Since the onset of award season, Rosamund Pike’s red carpet style has been exquisitely fabulous and chock-full of drama. (Must we remind you of her black lace vintage Dior gown and heart-shaped veil at the Golden Globes?) Her appearance at the 77th British Academy Film Awards was no different.

The Gone Girl actor walked the red carpet Sunday at Royal Festival Hall in London, looking beautiful and utterly captivating once again. For the big ceremony, she wore a modern take on a Cinderella dress: a cool-blue gown featuring two large pieces of crossing over one another, to create a plunging V-neck bodice, with a flouncy A-line skirt and tight pleats throughout. She wore the centerpiece over a nude corset and paired it all with chunky gold peep-toe platform heels, a diamond statement ring, and diamond drop earrings. As for beauty, Pike glammed up with rosy makeup complete with bright pink blush and berry lips, and pulled her hair back into a sophisticated, sleek, side-parted updo.

Pike made another striking appearance Saturday night at the BAFTA Nominees’ Party, where she gave a delicate, flouncy sheer pink dress lots of edge. The lovely centerpiece, from Erdem’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, featured puffy short sleeves, a fitted bodice, and a flowy skirt with ruffle details along the hips and hem, all in a see-through powdery pink fabric with floral motifs throughout. She wore the gown over a nude bralette and matching high-waisted underwear, and paired it with dark accents, including black leather opera gloves, a matching wide belt, and pointed-toe, lace-up slingback heels. For the final touches, she added diamond drop earrings, glammed up with bright, rosy makeup complete with peachy blush, matching eyeshadow, and a vibrant berry lip, and styled her hair in bouncy curls pulled back into two low space buns.
Pike is up for Supporting Actress for her role as gorgeous, entitled matriarch Elspeth Catton in Saltburn, alongside her costars Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan (nominated for Supporting Actor and Leading Actor, respectively). The dark drama garnered two other BAFTA nominations: Original Score and Outstanding British Film.
Last month, on the red carpet at the BAFTA Tea Party, the Oscar nominee took some time to talk about Saltburn. “The script is seductive, [writer and director] Emerald [Fennell] is seductive, her characters are seductive,” Pike told PA Media. “I would love it if this film got love from BAFTA because it is so British.”
