Cardi B is keeping her loved ones close, so much so that she now has her baby son's name permanently tattooed on her face.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper shared a close-up shot of her face, from a February photo shoot, on her Instagram Story yesterday, showing off the new design.
The tat, in red ink, reads, "Wave," in cursive and is located along Cardi's jawline.
The photo shoot, in which she debuted the tattoo, was posted on Valentine's Day, February 14, but somehow many fans missed the detail when scrolling through the glossy photos at the time. In them, she and husband Offset are seen enjoying a romantic dinner at McDonald's—dressed in lavish gala attire and holding glasses of champagne filled with soda. As Cardi gazes at Offset, eats fries, and drinks soda, her new face ink, though subtle, is clearly visible.
"Love my face tatt," she wrote over the close-up of her face on her Instagram Story.
Cardi B and Offset married in 2017, and have since welcomed two children: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 4, and son Wave Set Cephus, 1. The baby boy was born on September 4, 2021.
Cardi revealed her son's name and shared the first photos of him in April 2022.
In an Instagram post, the "I Like It" rapper included two sweet snaps of Wave, who looked cool in a sky blue puffer jacket with fur on the hood, powder blue sweatpants and a matching beanie, a white T-shirt, chunky white sneakers, and a huge diamond-and-silver chain layered over thinner chains.
