What do you like about the new Bulgari fragrance?

It's really light, and it smells amazing. I would never rep something that I don't 100% believe in, and I really do love it. It's very sexy, and it's great to wear it all year round. Wear it on a date, if you want to, just live your life.

Would you wear it on a date?

On the dates that I don't go on...

It is. We make our money though [laughs].

What's a scent that makes you feel nostalgic?

My mom's scent, which then became my first perfume. And I just remember wearing it and feeling so grown up and womanly. I also love essential oils like lavender. I switched bags, but I usually always have lavender in my bag.

Do you use aroma diffusers?

Yes! I literally have five in my room. My mom sets them in every corner in her house, so when you walk into her house all you can smell is lavender.

What was your highlight of summer '17?

I spent a lot of time with my family. I worked a lot with my trainer Joe [Holder]. This summer was a lot about getting healthy, being with my family, riding my horses. I spent a lot of quality time that I can't always get throughout the year. It just centered me, brought me down to earth, and now I'm starting new and fresh. I'm excited to be working again and doing my thing.

How do you balance a crazy work schedule with battling chronic Lyme?

Well, I have a close relationship with my agent so they know what I'm going through and look out for me. But I still push myself, because I love what I do. So, I'll get to the point where I'm working every single day, and then I might freak out a little. I should maybe monitor it more, but I like to push myself. I think you just really need those 3 weeks off at the end of the summer.

Whats your favorite/least favorite thing about fashion month?

My favorite part is being one of the first to see a new collection. It's so fun because I love fashion, and I love seeing how invested the designers. Nobody really sees all the hard work that goes into what ends up being a 5-minute runway show. For me, being able to experience the atelier, and meet these designers, and all the people who don't sleep for 3 months before the show— it gives you so much respect.

My least favorite part is not being able to see my family. It's a lot of running around. But I think that fashion month feels all year round for me—it doesn't feel like a different pace than my normal schedule.

Last show you binge watched?

American Horror Story, so obsessed. Also How to Get Away with Murder.

What are you listening to?

SZA! And I'm not saying that because everyone else is— that's my girl. She is just like... top 1 for me. I've also been listening to H.E.R. and Buddy. There's so many great new artists right now.
