Bayleys Heel Turn Solves Issue WWE Had At Clash Of Champions

October 2024 · 2 minute read

Bayley was the SmackDown Women’s Champion poised to defend her title at Clash Of Champions against Charlotte Flair. Now that Bayley is a heel it could solve an issue for that match.

Charlotte Flair is from “The Queen City” aka Charlotte, North Carolina. That is also the host city for this year’s Clash Of Champions event.

Fans typically cheer a lot for any Flair in Charlotte. Ric Flair has worked many famous matches in the area and people in North Carolina turn out in droves to see him. This could also be the case for his daughter who WWE literally named after the city.

WWE “solved that issue,” as Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live when the subject was brought up. Bayley’s heel turn is a very interesting thing that has never been visited, therefore, we’re not exactly sure what kind of heel she is going to be.

Since Bayley is now a heel, then WWE will have no issue with fans cheering Charlotte Flair and booing The Hugger. Let’s just see how a heel Bayley behaves in a title match situation.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
